Re-Surging is a literary volume on the grand theme of resurgence in life and love. Universal in thematic appeal, these eclectic poems tackle various moods, explore sociocultural sentiments and experience through a story telling approach: burgeoning quests; rebounding issues; love, loss, and revival of the Self.
The poetic renditions span the sociological, philosophical, and metaphysical dimensions of our human experience. The love poems are evocatively sensuous, yet interweaving higher dimensions of communion. Every poem is composed to excellent literary standards of rhythm, rhyme, and metaphorical stylistics, promising a delightful read.
Intimations, published in 2012, is a volume of short poetic tales. These include social satires and philosophical deliberations on illusion and reality. The verse narratives explore various predilections and preoccupations of our times. Historical allusions and mythical symbolism are used in several poems, to illustrate viewpoints relevant even today.
The poems are organized under three distinct thematic frameworks: Lifescape, Lovescape, and Blindscape. The central metaphor uniting the various poems across the three sections is "the mind's eye". In the timeless tradition of "the mind's eye", the poems in this volume are thought provoking, inspirational, and intellectual.
Intimations: this volume of poetry has long been a favorite of many readers, including literary critics. Below is an excerpt from The U.S. Review of Books, 2012:
"The language of her poems is precise, with the kinds of flourishes one expects from strong poetry without becoming lost in a tangle of metaphors or excessively dense vocabulary. The lyrical styling is worth reading and re-reading to pick up on subtle context clues that can be missed at first, giving these already enjoyable poems additional life on repeat visits. Fans of the style of classic style of poetry will be delighted with the compositions in this book while also being able to relate with their very 21st-century sensibilities."

Poetry comes easy to me like fresh blooms in all seasons of stress and elation, in rising spring, frigid cold, romantic fall as well as in scorching heat. I write at least one poem a day. Poetry is, and has always been my inner anchor mid the vagaries of time and place.
In my teens, I wrote poems to perform to my friends and family. Now, decades later with expanding networks of friends, family, and readers around the globe, I write to publish worldwide.
I love giving motivational talks, just as much as I love writing poetry. My poetry has a storytelling element to it. I love to engage with my audience, discuss my writings, and enjoy the stimulating exchange of views. I plan my book talks and literary discussions to conduct participatory sessions.
