Author & Speaker
From 2015-2020 I served as the Chair of Ocean Frontiers Research-Working Group of Science for Peace, Canada. This generated a lot of presentations and research papers. I first wrote on the Indo-Pacific in 2016. Scholarly writing is not just about the final print, but also about ethics and integrity of research and presentations.
Analytical research based writings generate communities of knowledge, sustain research caucus of scholars, and promote genuine expertise. From 2015-2019 I belonged to a research caucus called STAIR in short for "Science, Technology, and Art in International Relations". It is charted under the International Studies Association of the U.S. When this caucus wanted to bring out a textbook on the subject, I was invited to write a book chapter. My scholarly work is based on my disciplinary rigors of research and analysis. My peer reviewed publications include a policy research paper published by the Canadian Global Affairs Institute: "40years of ASEAN-Canada Partnership, and a Strategic Agenda for Tomorrow", 2017.
